Farm and Home Foundation Scholarship Information
Each scholarship is worth $1,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, and may be used for tuition, fees, or room and board at any accredited educational institution which offers the required majors. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, leadership, and financial need. Funds for these scholarship are made possible from earned income from the Elmer L. Esbenshade irrevocable Trust. The late Mr. Esbenshade was one of the founders of the Farm and Home Foundation. Since its inception, the trust has funded 432 scholarships totaling over $440,000 Scholarship applications are available after
March 1 each year from school Guidance Counselors or the scholarship
committee chairman, at 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster PA 17601, or by
calling 394-6851. April 14, 2008, is the deadline for applications
to be returned for this year's consideration.
